Traps by Paul Lindsay

Disillusioned FBI investigator finds himself dragged into a boomscare investigation when a kidnapped girl's father holds a city ransom to force FBI to find the girls kidnappers. Teams up with another FBI agent who has just recovered from deadly cancer to face a diabolical kidnapper who had fooled FBI and takes up the challenge once again when FBI uncovers his tracks in the previous crime.
