In the natural world you are what you are--or more likely who--you eat. Which in the case of rats and cockroaches means you may well be your closest relative.
Not all animals are opportunistic omnivores, however. Some stick to diets that are high in salt or sugar, others crave food that is rich in blood or fat (sucked fresh from their victim's brain, if possible). And while there are those animals for whom fast food is the only option, there are others who can enjoy the luxury of a long, extremely filling lunch. Then, of course, there are animals who like drugs and alcohol, a combination that generally spells one thing: trouble.
